AMAZING THINGS ARE HAPPENING HERE: Dan’s Story

Dan Levinsohn was determined to run the New York City Marathon. After several attempts, he gained entry into the 2017 race and spent months rigorously training. During a run over Labor Day weekend, however—just two months before the event—Dan was struck by a speeding car, shattering his right shoulder. But with help from his mom, a NewYork-Presbyterian nurse, Dan found the care he needed to heal at NYP, and that November, he crossed the finish line with pride.
