AMAZING THINGS ARE HAPPENING HERE: Patrick's Story

Patrick Strang, an Emergency Department technician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital and a volunteer firefighter in Garrison, New York, was so inspired by how effectively his fellow healthcare colleagues responded to the COVID-19 crisis that he felt he had to contribute, too. To honor their heroic efforts, Patrick organized a parade of first responders—featuring 150 vehicles from over 21 police, fire, and EMS departments in Westchester and Putnam counties—to recognize their good deeds. Watch this video to see how this moving tribute came together.
