September 2019: Dionisio's Story

When 32-year-old Dionisio Robles woke up from a nap one day in 2017, he knew something was very wrong. He was slurring his words and experiencing a loss of function on his left side. His family rushed him to NewYork-Presbyterian. There, Olajide A. Williams, MD, and his team quickly diagnosed a stroke and, using the latest technology, began a treatment plan to save the young man's life.
