Keep Me Safe Presents Save The Brave
Keep Me Safe is an organization founded by Lorizbeth Croes for the sole purpose of raising awareness for victims of abuse. In 2014, after celebrating her first year as a survivor of domestic violence, Lorizbeth was surprised at all of the resources she started to come across when she seeked help in the forms of therapy amongst other things. She began to brainstorm ways how she could share her story while helping others in similar situations, uncover the resources and tools at hand. Keep Me Safe was then born. She planned an annual fundraiser where she could bring together members of the community to raise awareness on such a sensitive and taboo subject while raising money for Non Profit Organizations that do important work to help victims all around.
Fast forward 5 years and she is now celebrating her 5th Annual Keep Me Safe Fundraiser called Save the Brave. Her goal is to raise money for the DOVE Program at NYP to help their efforts in the following:
Provide free, compassionate and comprehensive care to victims of violent crimes for ages 12 and above including, domestic violence, physical and sexual assault and elder abuse, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Collaborate and coordinate the provision of care with other service providers in order to develop, expand and strengthen the array and delivery of comprehensive services to the adults and families affected by violent crime.
Provide violence prevention education to those at risk for becoming victims and for those community and health care providers who are in a position to identify and assist individuals and families affected by violence.
Please help us by donating and/or purchasing a ticket to our upcoming event. Thank you in advance.
I'm fundraising for the Other at NewYork-Presbyterian.
